It depends on the date in which the refund procedures have been undertaken, on the credit card company’s cutoff dates, and on the timing of the refund process. As a rule of thumb, it takes about 1-2 months for funds to be returned.

*There are some cases where the billing for the purchase portion and the settling of the refund take place at the same time with only the service charge being debited. There are also cases wherein the balance remaining after the deduction of the service charge is refunded at a later date after the purchase portion is debited.
